In their own words

The Good: Great finish, well built. Power! Throws you back in your seat. Super comfortable. Google built in is excellent - you don’t need to use your phone and network but it does sync with it. Cameras are excellent and work well. The autopilot is reliable and integration of google maps into the dash in front of the steering wheel is invaluable. The auto high beam is incredibly clever and seems to succeed in not blinding other drivers. Sunroof is nice and removal of the grill from the front makes it much easier to clean.
The Bad: No manual speed limiter. Really miss this. The automatic speed limiter works, but is way too sensitive. If a feather falls on your accelerator foot, expect the limit to be overridden. The driver storage is awkward. Just two cup holders, one of which doesn’t really get covered properly, plus a little (tiny) shelf below the gear change and the normal door bins (which are fine). The trim on and around the seat is a form of upholstery and I still have dabs of white sunscreen I can’t get off from where my arm and leg were resting on a trip to the water. The rear window is too small, but the cameras do compensate for that. If you want to override the automatic high beam, you can’t just turn it off, you need to turn off auto, that then turns on high beam which you then have to turn off. So if you are worried you are blinding someone you have to blind them some more first. And I got into the car after not using it for a few weeks and it made me sign into my Polestar ID. You should never have to sign into a car to use it, beyond the first time, And the usual stuff with electric cars - sometimes chargers don’t work and why on earth can’t you just fill up everywhere with a credit card rather than needing 739 apps all with a million details about you. But that’s not Polestar’s fault,
What it should have, but doesn’t: Heads up display. Normal armrest bin plus the two cup holders. Manual speed limiter. More easily cleanable trim.
